Class Descriptions

Gentle Yoga Flow*

Flow & Stretch. Suitable for all levels. A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with an injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga.

Vinyasa Level 1

Experience the fundamentals of a Vinyasa flow class with a warm-up series, standing poses, core strengthening, and a relaxation series. This class is warm with music to inspire your flow. Move through your practice linking breath to movement and leave feeling balanced and rejuvenated.

Vinyasa Level 2

Hot energetic flow combining breath with a movement. Increasing your strength by including arm balances, inversions, and powerful core work. This class will inspire you to deepen your flexibility, find your edge and enjoy the benefits of yoga.

Alignment Flow*

This class is designed to focus on foundational poses, advancing your practice with greater detail to alignment. You will learn body awareness and to work more effectively within your Yoga practice. Poses will be held longer, with attention to alignment, strength, flexibility, and balance. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Restorative Yoga*

Restorative yoga is a series of poses designed to completely support the body in stillness to assist deep relaxation and rest. The body is held in the safety of a still and quiet room with props including bolsters, blocks, and blankets. This practice enhances the body’s natural healing abilities to restore more efficiently and dissolves the residue of everyday stress. Restorative yoga poses are not about stretching the body, they are about opening to collect nourishment. No experience needed, open to everyone.

Yoga to Replenish*

Yoga to Replenish is a class designed to purify and balance prana (life force) throughout the body to strengthen and build vitality. The first half of the class incorporates gentle dynamic movements paired with poses in stillness and guided breath work. The second half of class will finish with a super comfy, restorative savasana (corpse pose) using props to support the body in deep relaxation.

Yoga Sculpt

If you want a secret weapon to accelerate your practice and progression, this is it. Yoga Sculpt teaches you to access your abdominals and obliques, making your yoga practice more balanced and controlled. Don’t let this class fool you it strengthens the entire body. This Power Vinyasa class is set to upbeat music and incorporates a variety of strength training techniques. It can help turn even the weakest midsection into yogic under armor. This class is accessible for beginners, but the high-energy pace will get your blood pumping and sweat pouring for one of the best workouts you’ll find at any yoga studio. This class is heated with additional humidity.

Mindful Vinyasa Flow*

A class based on linking breathe with movement while being mindful of injuries or disadvantages you may have within your body, & learning how to modify your Vinyasa in a way that feels good for you. Makayla teaches from her own experience with scoliosis and a spinal fusion.

Yin Yoga*

Yin yoga is a passive, transformative style of Hatha yoga that asks participants to hold postures. This longer hold of poses is done to strengthen, lengthen, and provide therapeutic release to joints, muscles, ligaments, fascia, and other connective tissues. Less active than other types of yoga, yin is mainly done lying down on your mat. The main purpose of yin yoga is to provide grounding. As you learn to tune out the daily grind and focus on slowing down and listening to your body, you will learn to totally surrender, mind and body, to your practice. Yin benefits those who do a great deal of high energetic sports and fitness. It’s also a great complimentary practice for yogis, who perform active and strengthening styles of yoga.

Hot Yoga (90 minutes)

Come calm your mind, focus, and sweat it out with this traditional style 90 minute hot class. You will be guided through a set sequence of 26 postures including communal breathing before and after. This class will not only teach you how to meditate and find stillness but also cultivate strength and flexibility.

Bikram Yoga

This is a 90-minute class comprised of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, practiced in a room heated to approximately 105 degrees and 40 percent humidity. This is a Beginners level class; no yoga experience required. The class is instructed verbally, and exactly the same every time you show up on your mat; the only thing that changes is you. Bikrams technique is specific in order to maximize the intended physical benefits, and also to hone your listening skills and mental focus. This practice will systematically work, and promote blood flow throughout, the entire body. This yoga series was created to heal people with chronic pain, prevent injuries and ultimately, serve as a meditation and self-realization tool. Arrive to class hydrated, with an empty stomach and an open mind.
