I have always been a very active person, constantly seeking out new physical and mental challenges throughout life whether professionally, physically through sports and exercise or as a student in the classroom. Although I initially chose yoga for the physical practice, I quickly learned that it was much deeper than that and have been hooked since the day I started. I have been doing yoga since the early 2000s, but could not devote the full time I wanted to my practice until a decade later. Finally, after having my second child (of four), I realized yoga was required to balance my body, mind, and busy life as a full time Air Force pilot, leader, wife and Mom. I am constantly working to find more balance in my often stressful and busy daily life and Yoga has been the glue to do just that.

I recently moved to Evergreen, am a retired vet and now with a career change know that yoga holds so much balance in all of our life choices. I truly believe that I will be a student of life and love sharing my experiences on the mat and beyond. I found Yoga teacher training at the right time to continue learning and deepen my yoga practice in 2018 completing my 200 hour YTT in early 2018 and shortly after becoming certified in child yoga.

In my classes, I like to combine creative sequencing, inspiring rhythms and strengthening movements into fun and strong vinyasa flow classes. I love people, of all ages, to feel comfortable in their bodies and have fun with their movements, while constantly challenging themselves mentally and physically. My practice has taught me to be more mindful of my body and mind, on and off the mat, and I love sharing my lessons and experiences with everyone.
