Kayla has been a teacher of young children for over 10 years, and is still teaching in Denver Public Schools as an early childhood educator. She found her passion for wellness when she noticed the need to help herself, her fellow teachers, and students navigate the effects of stress. It was after her first training with Kindness Yoga in 2017 that she began to develop a love for teaching yoga and mindfulness to others. Yoga has helped her navigate anxiety and overcome the many trials and tribulations of life. Kayla has since been trained in breathwork, trauma-informed mindful meditation, kids yoga, and 300hr yoga psychology. Her goal is to create a calm and welcoming environment for all to experience the healing and soothing effects of yoga and mindful breathing, and have some fun along the way. She is trained in vinyasa yoga, encouraging the union between movement and breath. Her passion is to help change the world, one breath at a time. She is so excited to join the warm and welcoming Evergreen community and spread her light at Gather Yoga!
